  any1 eat there b4? indian vegeterian fastfood. i eat there a few times, n each time i tried diff kind of food. but the food is kinda weird. n i see mostly indian ppl eat there...only got a few chinese

  i guess probaly back in the olden days,most of them were poor,could not afford fork and spoon so maybe thats why.

  i tried using fingers when eating rice at curryfish head restoran....n the rice grains n bits of food get stuck to my nails (which r rather long).... kinda disgusting. den i had to spent a long time trying to remove the curry n stuffs under my nails. n not only tat, l8r on, my nails were orangey due to the curry....
  
  tats y i nvr eat with my fingers...except in kfc. even wehn eating chili or pepper crab, i'll struggle with my chopsticks n spoon to open the crab

  I also don't know,Why do u use a spoon or a chopstick?.But since i am a left hander i rarely go to this type of places.I have to forcefully use my right hand,If not ppl start staring........

  You need training just like using a chopstick.

  u will not die from it. U will get germs adnd bacteria from the food u eat than your hands, the flesh and blood from animals I go to Indian restaurants and eat with my hands too.
  I mean how did ancient man eat? with their hands rite?
  
  the $6 meal at komala is spread out like a buffet that one issit i think it is good. It is healthy and vegetarian

  If you like Vegetarian food, go Annalakshimi better, they have a wider and better spread of food. Its just next door at the Excelsior hotel.

  Yup, it is run by volunteers. Proceeds goes to the Temple of Fine Arts I think...I love their curry and papaudum. And they serve premium desserts
