Any other stall on the north east side can recommend?
My fav stall is the one at Serangoon Centre BLK 204 but too bad open until 12pm only. -

Oh I forgot to add, the best value cai tao gui is located at the hawker center beside Fu lu Shou. For $2 you get a large plate which you can barely finish...

Nowadays seems like cheapest is $2. Serangoon Central Blk 204 one also $2. Can't get those $1.5 ones that I used to get in my primary sch days -

Still got SG$1.50 Carrot cake. just tasted it a wk ago at Commonwealth West Hawker Ctr. Only 1 store selling it. Taste is so so only.

the food center near Redhill MRT....the store is all the way at the end..... the "pasar" (black sauce) carrot cake quite nice....

The hawker centre near Kovan MRT station got a very good stall. From morning till about 1pm plus only. Soft type.

Thanks for the info, I try before but this style not so appealing to me.
I missed the type, if you try before at the demolished hawker centre at Farrer Park. The type that is fried until crispy and looked very thin on the plate. I heard the best ones, but are the soft type are in Toa Payoh Lor 1 (never try before, heard that must wait very long) and the other one at Hougang Kovan Hawker (this one is quite good). -
