went to Gokul at upper dickson rd for lunch some time ago. nice environment, good service. food was nice too. everything was going well until the end. when paying for the dinner, i'm expecting to pay somewhere around $9+. but the price came out to be $12+. therefore i ask the cashier why is ther a difference between the price i calculated using the menu and the price he charged me! his reply was" oh, sometime ago we increase the price of some items but haven't yet had time to change the price on the menu". well, everything seems to be going well, except for this 1. no point arguing, but i simply accpet this as an excuse.

1) Blk 226A Ang Mo Kio Ave 3 Market. Ru Lai Vegetarian Food. Cheap and good.
2) Blk 356 Hougang. Along Upp Serangoon Road. Da Zhi Ran. Roti Prata. (Tokkong)
3) Blk 501 Hougang. La Mian. Curry flavour. Shiok!
4) Along Eu Tong Sen Street. Just after Keong Siak Street. Just Green. Good deco and ambient. Tim Sum, wah lao, Best!
5) Sin Min Estate, Blk ?? Opp ROV. Ru Lai Vegetarian Cheap & Good.
6) Campass Point. Ba Xian. Yong Tau Foo.
7) Blk 128 Ang Mo Kio Ave 3. Shop house. "Duck rice", noodles, etc mo tuck teng.
Ang Mo Kio Ave 10, Hawker Centre. Kang Lau Mian, Lu Mian. Good gravy.

Anyone tried the steamboat buffet at the quality hotel singapore 2nd floor? their spicy soup is really spicy!

the chi vege rest. next to kwan yim tp @ waterloo st. serves quite gd food...

House of Vegetarian @ Geylang between lorong 37 & lorong 39 .... facing the main road (right side of the road) ..... its not in a coffeeshop but rather a small eating house type .. still cheap cheap .. and variety n taste still good .. -
