Places which advertise good food but turned out bad !

People .. i know many of you have the same experience as me .. so please post your experiences here.
1st up.
Akira. One japanese shop at one ulu ulu place cant remember where.
Food not even close to being authentic japanese, not much variety, taste wise not that nice.Shashima looks as though sliced by someone who knew completely nothing bout japanese food. Thoug had to say their amaebi was good.
Himawari at mount faber safra. Advertised nice food and say its a "buffet" with charcoal grill and shabushabu.
I compliment them cause they quality of their shashimi wasgood and their food very nice however they had a "trick" up their sleeve. It was after i made my orders that i realised their "charcoal grill" was not yakiniku ! it was just beef or pork fillet they would cook for u and their shabu shabu , only one serving. In other words they only give you want plate of beef and i counted only 9 pieces. Not worth amount charging. I also got bad service.
Fook yuen at raffles city.
Good chinese food. Good service everything is good. But prices they charge abit ridiculous. Ended up paying 600+ although 15 pple went , the food was very normal. No scallops abalone and stuff like that. -

I can second this, I dunno how many branches they have but the one my friends and I visited was at a corner in CityLink. Price on the high side but the food is only average and presentation is bad.Originally posted by Rynax:1st up.

Their service sucks as well, they forgot one of our orders and the waitresses showed us their black faces when we commented on their 'service'. Better yet, when paying our bill, one of us asked casually, "Is there a discount for any credit...." and got rebutted with a quick and loud "NO".

I agree that is Pizza hut....I also feel that Seoul Garden suxs...poor quality of food for price...
