Where to buy wine for wedding?

Hi guys any suggestions for any good wine for wedding dinner?

For weddings, i think some thought should be put into what kind of wines you're going to get and the good thing is that some wine-shops do free tastings - try not to get too deep-thinking a wine - just get easy drinking ones since people going down for the wedding are just there to enjoy the occasion and not appreciate. Most wine-shops do tastings which you have to pay for though they will absorb the cost if you do decide to order in bulk from them.
Cost-wise - if you get two bottles per table, for twenty tables, you're looking at 40 bottles already. try getting Chilean which are popular and easy drinking these days and the come up to about less than $20 per bottle - cheaper if you can bargain. Also look out for wine sales. Maxxium just had one and so did Magnum.
Most importantly do check on corkage charges where you are hosting the dinner as well - no point in busting the budget if the corkage is too high and besides beer goes down with all generations of guests. Corkage can be neogtiated with the hotels though so be firm.

For some wedding dinners I've attended, there is always a bottle of Red, a bottle of White on the table for the guests to choose from to compliment their foods. Depending on the moods you want to set for a wedding. There is various other nitty gritty you might need to look into. From ambience, parking, corkage charges, enough wine glasses to music.
But if its just going to be a rowdy happy affair. It wouldnt matter what wine is serve, as long as its alcohol

I think now people drink more wine than beer at weddings.
If you do not have a prefered variety - you can consider
Pinot Noir - usually regarded as the most easy red wine on the palate and beginners...
Cabernet Sauvignon - another easy going red wine wine
Cabernet Shiraz - a little spicy...
for the whites,
Chardonnay - sweet and fruity
Zinfandel - a bit more character
of course there are also many others and prices range from mid teens to hundreds... so budget is something you also want to think about. Since it is for mass consumption, probably not a good idea to get exotic or expensive wines.
Country wise - some of the Aussie wines are pretty good value, Chileans are pretty okay, the French tend to be a little overpriced, good US wines are a little on the high side too. South Africans could be considered.
For reds, try to get at about 3-4 year olds... because at the wedding, and to manage corkage, you cannot afford to open too many to let them breathe... so something too young may not be ready for drinking when they reach your guests. If more matured, they cost more. For whites, 2 years is good.
Most hotels already waive corkage for a limited number. Push for more and be nice to the wine captain that night... he or she will be the one reporting the number of bottles opened *wink*.

U can got to Austwine at Farmart. A wine bar by Hock Hua Birdnest. they got some pretty neat Australian wine there. You can also customise the wine label there... just look for ERIC and ask abt it....
