Brazil Churascaria vs Carnivore

  I've only tried the outlet at 6th ave....fantastic food and service. Worth every cent for their skewer style buffet.
  
  Any feedback on the carnivore outlet at chijmes?

  Churascaria got bad publicity when one letter-writer complained that he was turned away while they welcomed a white patron a while back.

  There are a significantly large number of ang mohs who patronise the food joint.
  
  Not sure about the whole story but as i understand, you have to have a reservation to get a table else you have to wait or find another place to eat as the place is really crowded everyday.
  
  The letter writer may not have made a reservation and got upset when a table was offered to an ang moh instead.

  There's another Brazil Churascaria called SAMBA at Big Splash, East coast park.
  
  Different boss, different management.
  
  Price range is $33+++ for adults. They have an early bird 30% discount off if you come before 7pm. DBS card holders get a further discount....
  
  Not sure whether the food compares to the Brazil at 6th ave though...

  dang, i live so near there, have dinner near there most of the time on saturdays. also, i run past there almost everyday lol.

  Love Brazil Churrascaria I learnt after the first time I was there that one should ideally avoid lunch altogether or have a very light one if you're planning on having dinner there. I couldn't even roll out gracefully

  Brazil Churrascaria at 6th ave is ard 36-39+++ but you always end up paying about 50 net.
  
  Samba at big splash is ard 33+++ for dinner, with early bird (before 7pm) 30% discount for Nov 05 only. They offer further discount to DBS card holders.
  
  Carnivore i have no idea...never eaten there before as i think all restaurants in the Chijmes area are overhyped and overpriced.

  I haven't tasted a better beef/lamb besides this place yet. (locally of course)
