That wanton mee stall was featured in the newspapers years' ago. It tastes good....and has the taste of the "olden days" wanton noodles which is quite rare nowadays.

one thing for sure,
majority of people flock there is for the noodles.
Its a little steep,
$3 and $4.
Really thin slice of Char Siew is serve,
dumplings are pretty good,
but the good stuff is the noodles,
and that special gravy they poured onto your plate.
The only time you have a shorter queue,
is off peak hours.

I think I ever tried it once and didn't find it that delicious.
There's a kopitiam, opposite a chinese temple in AMK ave 9 (near Blk 62*), that opens 24 hrs. The wanton noodles is cheap, huge serving and delicious! Cost $2.50 for the normal plate and the char siew meat is quite a lot, the soup is tasty too. They never ever advertise themselves on those TV variety shows. I find that nowadays almost every stall has photos to show that they were advertised on TV and they ain't really as nice as they were made out to be.
Back to Lavender foodcourt, the Albert street prawn noodles is nice. The other one at Old Airport Rd is delicious too. The one advertised by Kym Ng, in Hong Lim, isn't tasty as all. -

That one super nice!
But the portion very small. Always must ask for $4 one instead of $3.
Super long queue also
Once there was an idiot in front of me who dar bao for 13 ppl. Idiot! I waited until almost faint in the queue. So hungry. -
I think it is over rated, wait long queue and small portions (finished within 3 mouthfuls). I still feel hungry after ordering their large portion($4) and it is not cheap considering their portion and long waiting time.
In the end, have to order something else to eat. Where is this dunearn food court? I heard abt its wanton mee but dun know where is it? -

Nice but not must have type lah, most Wanton mee at other places also quite close. And yes the portion very small one and queue very long cause the old grandma cooking quite slow. Overall, wouldn't recommend -
Long queue. Small serving and thin slices of char siew. $3 can finish in 2 min, faster than your queuing time. $4 get little bit more noodle and 1 more wan ton. Plus so damn oily.
