Where to find good penang food like ....................

hi, where to find good penang food in spore?? i tried a few restns but some have closed down...i am looking for the penang kway tiao ting soup noodles and the penang laska....
know of any goodie food places in hawkers stalls??? buffet i know is kings hotel and york hotel only and the other some where in jurong biz park....

for fairly authentic penang food, can try Penang Kitchen at Coronation Arcade. there used to be a P'nang at mosque street which was quite good as well but closed down now. i might be wrong but there could be some sort of affiliation / connection between the current Penang Kitchen and the then P'nang.
I also tried one so called penang food place on east coast road, think called penang penang or something - CMI! as expected, have closed down since. -

The buffet costs $21.80 for adults and $17.80 for children under 12. ...a bit xxx nutsssssss................. missed the dates.......

there are 2 types of laksa in penang - the typical assam laksa (fish based, sour-ish soup with prawn paste) and the 'lemak' version which looks like those in singapore (curry-like soup) though its actually siamese style...
penang kitchen serves a fairly decent bowl....
not sure if they have kuey teow soup.... -

Tried the penang food from tasty penang...
Overall
serice = is kinda bad thou. seems like not enough worker there...
food = laska is good and char kuay teow is good too.
Price = acceptable.
the special drink which they offer is nice.... very refreshing. -
