Yummy Thai food in Bangkok?

  I'll be going to Bangkok for a few days in mid-Dec. Anyone know any good places to try authentic Thai food? Hmm.. come to think of it, ANY kind of yummy food (like Jap) oso good I think Sakae Sushi has an outlet in Bangkok?

  If you eat beef, go to the Marboonkrong SC Top Floor and look for the beef claypot stall. Run by a chinese guy who speaks Hainanese.

  It depends on whether u r adventerous enough to try the roadside stall. their beef noodles is good.
  if not some of the shopping complex have SnP. it's a resturant which sell cookies for u to bring back too.. try their deep fried fish with sweet n sour sauce. slurlp!

  You can try Zen or Fuji. Can be found at MBK and most Shopping Centre.
  For steamboat, go for MK. Cheap and good.

  Or just go to Chinatown. There are many good roadside stalls there.
  
  There is one famous award winning Thai resturant ...can't remember the name but I think any hotel will direct you there
  
  There is another Thai Chinese resturant near the Asok station which is pretty good.
  
  Or if you wanna blow moola for a romantic rooftop dinner, go to the Banyan Trees. Will set you back by about S$300.
  
  Btw Bangkok has a good number of good Korean and Italian resturants

  i think the chinatown resturant is over-price.
  there is this stall by the road side nearby which is run by a teochew lady.. they sell cheap and good shark's fin.
  The stall is in front of a bank.
  try their "yu piao" also.

  i love bangkok.been there 5 times last year.there is a chain of jap restauraut whic serves cheap n nice ramen.very very nice!!!i ate that almost everyday.for lunch n dinner.i know MBK got 1.(first floor near the mac)central got 1,silom center also got.
  another chain of thai noodle is also very nice.its logo is a big pig head.siam sq(below the bts station) have,silom also have...u can also find those thick bread toast in MBK and at the food court at emporuim.the food court there is also nice..some of the road side stall also nice...but i don really know how to direct you.

  Sushi tei at MBK also not bad.but i don think the sushi there is nice.but you can eat the set meal.120baht only..

  Beside it there is this huge kopi tiam style food court.
  Must try : Beef Kwey Tiao or Beef 'Mai Fan' (Bee hoon)

  the breads n kopi at Gateaux house..can be found in siam sq n MBK r nice,and there is a desert shop at siam sq(not insode the building) called mango tango.very nice.

  ya!!!i love it too!very crunchy n sweet.i like to add the "seasoning" too.ya..think its 15 bht.is a must buy everytime i go siam sq.heehee

  i also love Bkk's kopi.street side one the best.got this uncle selling kopi n teh at soi goethe.everyday i took the bike there to buy the kopi!heehee

  longest was 2 weeks..i went there 4 times this year between feb n june.
