You reminded me of my reunion dinners in the past, which was always steamboat. I love those homemade dos (I can eat whole night from start to end) but now that mum is older, we have dinner outside which is not as fun. And some restaurants impose a penalty charge if you take more than 1.5 hr to finish your reunion dinner....no kidding.

u can check out wif windjammer, he makes excellent cookies.Originally posted by choco B:Pineapple tarts. I'm very serious about them. Must be right pastry right filling right everything and fresh, none of those factory made things. That being said, does anyone have recommendations where to buy .... my regular supplier isn't baking this year
Preferably in town or westside please, but if it's a die-die-must-try I might be willing to travel. @_@
Yes! Some of these restaurants would have reservations all lined up till late in the night, so they would limit each grp of patrons to not more than 1.5 hrs to eat your reunion dinner. The sooner you leave, the greater the turnover and the more $$$ they make! Encountered this last year and we're not going back to that restaurant.Originally posted by ShrodingersCat:Serious!!! got charge if makan slow ah... piangz...
