  Pai seh.........steamboat (some think it's boring but I guess depending on the liao, right?).

  Prawn balls
  Some kind of deep fried thingy, taste like those balls but not shaped as one
  Tau pok
  That Japanese clear noodles thingy, packaged in a bundle type.
  Tou Fu
  Abalone
  Napa
  Shrimps
  Pork butt
  Chicken thigh
  
  Any other suggestions to add to my list? Thanks.

  i love fish maw, especially good when the soup is boiling hot.

  There is one congee house......serve it with shredded chicken congee. Hmm, yummy. Nice.

  Actually, I'm neutral to both. Quite chewy leh. In any case, I only buy abalone during CNY. So, it's like eat once in a year like that. Pacific clams? Boh buy unless eat at the congee place then got eat lor.

  Abalone is a pc of overpriced rubber, to me.
  
  Pacific clams is good enough. I like Victoria brand - very tender and consistent in size.

  Yeap, I just had pacific clams with shredded congee for dinner. Sedap. Now, soaking fish maw but don't know why take so long to soften.

  Buy golden mushroom & fresh mushroom, crab sticks, beef balls, sukiyaki beef, liver, kidney & veg. like watercress & bai chye. Makes the soup very sweet!

  Do you mean the king oyster mushrooms? I like that very much. Taste a tad like abalone but not chewy. But then, it is good only when stir-fried. I tried it with soup and it tasted different.
  
  Fresh mushrooms as in the white coloured button mushrooms? Okay, I've bought crab sticks. Beef ah? Hubby and son eat beef but because cook aka me do not eat, I don't know how to buy either.
  
  Liver? Will it make the soup sort of murky? Kidney, must know how to wash leh otherwise smelly. Yah, I think I go get watercress.

  Okay. I hve 2 eat @ three places.
  
  1. With my mum...@ my mum place. As usual...rice with dishes like Fish, duck chicken pork, vege.......... Eat 1 week b4 actual day.
  
  2. With my MIL & FIL @ their hse. Rice with Crabs, prawns, fish, chicken, vege, pork...... Certain dish she cooks cerain dish she order fm coffeeshop. Eat 2 weeks b4 actual day.
  
  3. With my hubby & kid...@ our own home sweet hme....As usual STEAMBOAT.....But with lots of VEGE....Cos we r Vege lovers, & plus some more d 2 previous dinner already eat alot of MEAT......So must balance up...... Eat on that acutaul day for REunion dinner.
