i wanna go soup restaurant eatOriginally posted by sgbdk:Just came back..
ok the review:
Location: 3rd floor of Changi Airport T2(near Sakae Sushi)
Nice decorated with bamboo trees.. atmosphere will be nice if not for the long queue(Valentine's Day). Overall Zen decoration
Food:
I ordered small samsui ginger chicken($13). Enough for 4 pax but if u prefer the large one($24). Come with ginger dip, cabbage and of course the chicken. Main idea is using the cabbage to wrap the chicken together with the ginger sauce. No wonder its their house dish
soup - assorted $5 -$11
each are believe to do different effect to yr body like reduced fatigue, improve blood circulation and calming nerves etc..
American Ginseng w abalone -$11
Waisan & Ginseng roots wif chicken - $5
The Ah Por Fan Shu leaves($7 for small)
nicely cooked but for those who prefer with sambal chilli, there's also the Ah Gong Fan Shu Leaves too..
Next dish is Steamed Uncle Lapan(aka Ba Su Gong Yu)($20). its a fresh water catfish if im not wrong.. no evidence of "tu wei" or mud smell. I thought the meat was not fully cooked at first cos it look red on the surface but waitress assure its the colour of the meat.
Finally for those who like tofu
there are a few dishes you can choose from
the beggar tofu($
simply steam tofu with soy sauce
Tofu with prawns($??)
Claypot tofu($7)
egg tofu braised with sea cucumber..
this is the one i tried
$100+ for 4 pax.. seems reasonable enough
