AVA advisory for travellersmostly, you can bring in groceries if it's not over a certain amount in terms of cost, else you have to declare it and pay GST for it...

Singapore Customs GST Advisorybasic thing is, if you're coming in from Malaysia, don't bring alcohol as it is duty payable...
otherwise, if you are 18 and above, you are allowed:
$50 relief if you have not been out for more than 24 hours
$150 relief if you have been out over 24 hours but not more than 48 hours
$300 relief if you have been out over 48 hours
if over that amount, declare and pay the GST for any amount over that..
under 18, nil, $50 and $100 respectively...
groceries are okay.. but do not bring in stuff like meat products and poultry/eggs.. strictly verboten...
