  I cannot live without my morning and nightly cuppa of warm Milo, and my daily dose of soy bean milk. These are the two things I truly miss whenever we move to a new country/area.

  i was overseas for 3 yrs, most craving I find substitute using spagetti as noodles, etc. Using rice flour to make chui kway, etc. Several things have no substitute and made a list of food craving i must have when i return to s'pore.
  1) satay ( chinese & malay)
  2) chendol (@bedok hawker centre)
  3) black pepper crab
  4) cha kway teow
  5) carrot cake
  6) rojak
  7) mee rubus
  zhe cha(ku luk yok, hak chion kai, etc)
  9) bak chor mee
  10) hokkien mee

  I agree wif Juan, especially the roti john, my dad makes the best roti john man! and if i were to go over seas, i would ask my mom to write me a copy of most of her simpliest recipies "YUM!"
