  I like both!
  
  For white one, it must be crispy with lots of char po and nice chilli!
  
  For black one, it must be wet with lots of eggs!
  
  I recommend the Bt Timah Hawker Centre carrot cake(white one)

  When i feel down/stress i order white. When i am happy feeling gd i order black.
  
  Cos' i dun 1 feel worse when i feel down & eat black carrot cake.....

  kallang bahru market, there are a few carrot cake stalls if im not wrong but there's only 1 nice one. gluttons bay when they first started out it was food but now its like crap

  I've tried many stalls. Nothing beats the ones located at Clementi Food Centre and Queestown Hawker Centre.
  
  Their carrot cake alone, before frying, tastes extremely nice with fragrance. It's a must try and very much better than those found at the kopitiam for sure.
  
  Btw, I'll order black normally but for these two stalls, both taste great to me!

  Bukit Timah hawker centre - Lao Chao Pat (sth like that - Chinese no good)
  There are 4 stalls there so you must find the right one!

  yup.. but there got open 1 or 2 new stalls so b careful which stall u buy from!

  haizz the one in serangoon north sucks but still managed to survived for more than a decade, CUZ ITS THE ONLY CARROT CAKE STALL IN THE ENTIRE SERANGOON NORTH!!!!

  The one at Bukit Timah hawker centre is it the one at the corner? With a large clear plastic panel covering the wok area to prevent customers from the heat?
