The kway chup quite nice...prawn noodles not so bad..can try it out...frog legs...chicken rice is nice...the tim sum can forget about it....western food is normal, then the "tie ban"(got cockles, bbq stingray, etc) quite a variety (u may wish to try some)...used to have ban mian but change vendor liao...

925 used to be my regular supper metting place some years ago.
My fren work in retail sales, knock off about 10 and come back yishun from CWP, i meet him about 3-4days per week around 1030-1100 at 925. We eat and drink and talk till they close the gate(that time not 24hours yet).
The Tie Ban store is quite good, can mix between "gong bao"(dried chilli) "jiang cong"(ginger onion) "tang cu"(sweet N sour) "hei zhao" (black pepper) with chicken/beef/fish. I prefer the gong bao chicken, the taste very strong/spicy for those who love this kind of style. And if someone order tieban stinray from him, everyone nearby can smell it. The towkay is a cheerful fat/tall guy with short hair.
For the frog leg porriage, i didnt really try it cos it started quite late. But i think the frog leg porriage in khatib 848 was more famous.
The western food was once very good, but sometimes change ppl the standard dropped.
QiuLianBanMian was nice too, but not there anymore.
I like the chinese family(i mean PRC) who do the deep fried wanton noodles, others place that do the same thing are just not as good. Not sure if they are still there.
Seldom eat the "zhu chao", cos i mostly go there for supper, not dinner.
laksa was ok, but there's a better choice of laksa very nearby(a smaller place that sells only laksa/po piah/ice kacang), so i seldom eat laksa in 925. Those who live in Yishun sure know where.
And one auntie from the drinks stall, she speaks cantonese, she always forget what we ordered when four of us ordered different drinks, hahaha.
Actually what i think of 925 is that all the stalls are up to standard, but not those very famous one. I mean if a kopi tiam got one stall score 100, but all others score 60, and another kopi tiam all the stores score 80, i would rather go to the one that all score 80. -
it's great to hang out at 925 coffeeshop for dinner and couple of beers after that
so relaxing
another fav. coffeeshop in yishun is 101 coffeeshop. that's good oso.. -
the chicken rice is the best i ever eaten... their chicken is smooth and tasty. the rice smell very good. the prawn mee also dam nice. duck rice/kway chup also good. their western food store the chicken cutlet rice give lots of chicken.

But i dont like to eat chicken rice, i mean anywhere any stall i also dont like, not that this this stall no good. That's why in my earlier post i didnt mention the chicken rice. -
