Wonton mee

  THere were only 5 rated best wanton mee stalls in Singapore are the rest such a disappointment or does the journalist have a very high standard.
  
  SOme are atrocious some are good.My preference is the hongkong style with thick black gravy but not so much of gravy la...
  
  For singapore style i like the parklane one with fried wantons, but char siew given is measly, meagre and paltry.

  Lavender hawker, in chinese it is Ming Hui Da Xia... there all the hawker stalls.... you see the 1 with the longest queue ar, its the shop liao.

  i like wanton mee!!! i ate m'sia one b4... very nice... and ya becos of the black sauce bedok blk 50+ got one stall is nice... with fried wanton... and the sauce is nice too!

  Those rated as best may not even taste good to you or me,each one has their own different taste,so such proclaimed best may not suit everyone.
  
  So if everyone has their version of their best,there is so many best around? who are you to say that this is best for the others?

  just ate one.. at bukit timah hawker centre.. think its called "happy".. many patrons.. though queues not as long as those more popular ones. . but his char siew and soup very tasty..

  Agree. I don't mind if the char siew is so so or the vege is meagre (who eats wanton mee just for the vege, anyway? ), but the noodles, chilli sauce and soup must be nice.
