Cafe Galilee @ Seng Kang Library

Anyone have complaint about that cafe before?
I went this evening with my friend, thought of enjoying my meal at the Cafe while she read up some books and do homework. I ordered my Teriyaki Chicken Steak and Iced Latte and got a seat to sip my Latte. Was told to wait for my Teriyaki Steak and it'll be served shortly.
Waited for 20mins, but it never came. I've almost finished my Iced Latte at that time. Went to the counter to enquire about it and was told that the person forgot my order. It was never prepared. She only start preparing it when I enquired. I told her that I got to leave soon and she packed it as a take-away order. When I wanted to cancel order, she offered a free pastry for me. As my friend don't mind the pastry, I accepted the offer.
However, was pretty pissed by their service standard. Anyone faced this before? -

Actually their Teriyaki Chicken Steak should be called Instant Steak. The Chicken Steak is actually those frozen pack being microwaved, salad is the mixed vegetables from Super Market and Mash Potatoe are exactly like those ready mix machine produced ones. And it's $7.20.

perhaps you can try Galilee cafe at cineleisure. their service is excellent. i often went there de.

i frequent e one in bedok lib.. e food's not bad.. dun buy e main courses cos its really exp but e sides are gd.
but i wanted to complain cos there was a time where the chicken drumlets was always cold on e inside..

Only tried the one at Jurong Regional Library..
service no comments, but food not bad.. -

KNs,used to get free food n drink or otherwise staff discount cos noe e ppl dere last time bt nw e staff all different liao

Actually, i find this 'hip' idea of introducing cafes at libraries a bad idea.
The thought of people eating and talking during a meal so close to readers in a library, coupled by the pungent smell of FOOD, can be truly annoying at times.
Just look at the branches with Galilee: AMK, Library@Orchard etc.
Sometimes, the noise generated by people there are worse then kids yelling and screaming their monkey heads off.
