i juz hate bean sprouts nt cooked. last time my house downstair the kopitiam got a char kuey tiao stall. i complain for the first few times i eat coz tau gae nt cooked. den 2 weeks after of complaining, uncle finallly get used 2 it and stir fry my tau gae beri long den put the kuey tiao in.
salted fish n tau gae my FAV!!!
but hate ppl who put bean sprouts into soup. total cmi -

I dun mind bean sprouts but d head must be remove otherwise i won't eat.
I like salted fish fry bean sprouts. Normally we eat bean sprouts @ hme cos u can remove d head b4 cooking whereas outside they usually don't............

anywya bean sprouts are ok but must cooked well and thoroughly same with other veges, if not horrible taste

haha..i really hate bean sprouts. Will ask Hokkien Mee auntie for one without bean sprouts even though she said i have to wait for a long time to recook one for me...

i hate bean sprouts to core!! it has a very disgusting taste to it!
i still remember when i was in sec sch, i used to patron this hokkien mee stall at telok blangah. very nice... and i always ask without bean sprouts... but he has an awful bad memory and once i waited 2 full hours for my noodles, and i repeatedly asked him, he gave all his other customers except me... in the end he gave me one with BEAN SPROUTS!!! i was so turned off and never ordered there again... i had to pick out the bean sprouts and eat the noodles... but the noodles are already sucky because there is the taste of DISGUSTING bean sprouts on it.
just last week, at Jurong East S11, i wanted to order Hokkien mee... then i asked the auntie i don't want bean sprouts. then she said, bean sprouts have to be added. i was thinking how could it be? i think it's pre-cooked Hokkien mee..... then i told her, SORRY i don't take bean sprouts, and told her i don't want it then. she gave me a shocked look.
i absolutely cant stand stalls which claim cannot remove bean sprouts. this only says that they don't know how to do business. not only me, my sister and alot of my friends hate bean sprouts as well.
and i get totally pissed off at restaurants which doesn't state that the particular has bean sprouts. was at Mayim on father's day. order a mushroom dish but it was full of bean sprouts... YUCKS... in the end didn't finish the plate...
it has become a principle for me that whenever i order food, i will state no beansprouts. however some stalls like to add bean sprouts to anything, even though it's not supposed to have bean sprouts eg. ipoh horfun! so yah whenever i order food i will say don't want bean sprouts!! -
