WOW!!...i tot its hard... hmmm...gonna try it out soon!!! thanks!Originally posted by Wanda:They're simple but you'll need one of those blenders that can blend ice cubes.
The method is basically blend:
- a handful of ice cubes or more (up to individual taste)
- peeled & fresh fruits (cut into small pcs)
- half to 3/4 cup of milk or plain yoghurt
- 2 teaspoon of honey (optional)
- top with crunchy cereals or muesli or chopped fruit (optional)
You can try mixing:
- banana + strawberries
- more mango + milk
- banana + mixed berries
Just make sure to use fresh fruits. Enjoy!![]()
Within 2 hours is best loh, otherwise the banana will turn brown...perhaps can add a few drops of lemon juice to slow down the browning.Originally posted by mhcampboy:WOW!!...i tot its hard... hmmm...gonna try it out soon!!! thanks!![]()

Choco, I'm not v experienced w blenders, but I can tell u try not to get those korean-packaged upside down ones. It looks like a cup which is turned upside down during blending (with the cap-cum-blade at the bottom of the cup). Erm...not sure if my description makes sense.Originally posted by choco B:One vote for NZ Natural

I had one (which my bro won at lucky draw), and sometimes after blending, it was difficult to unscrew the cap-cum-blade thing from the motor attachment, and ended up unscrewing the cup itself, which means leaking of the smoothie.
My next purchase (to add to my other white elephants) will be an upright blender with more power for blending.![]()
Now that you have your own home, it's not bad to get a kitchen appliance as a bday gift, right?Originally posted by choco B:...So now on the lookout for a blender, purpose is to blend the day's worth of veges and fruits and drink all in one shot LOL :p If it can handle ice, all the better - I love smoothies. I think my mom's getting a blender for me as a birthday gift. Who'd have known there would come a day when I get a kitchen appliance for a birthday gift ...and actually look forward to it!""
