It is something common.
Some places they served fruits and ice cream cubes to dip in hot chocolate sauce.
Fruits like apples, bananas, strawberries etc.
Hagen das is one of the place.

yeah it will be like chocolate fondue, in fact many high class restaurants serve this. u get all kinds of fruits to dip in holt melted black choc, peach, apples, bananas, durian ,ok i was kidding about the durian but u get the idea.

though i am a cheesecake freak but seriously banana n chocolate taste nice! It does not taste weird at all. Not forgetting to mention banana chocolate (cheese)cake is nice.

Actually i dun like bananas too.. but when it is made into cheesecake the taste automatically blends together... and it tasted rather special plus garnish is a thinly slice piece of banana coated with sugared caramel... crisp on the outside soft on the inside... even my folks who doesnt like cheesecake like this too..Originally posted by FireIce:taste like banana in chocolate sauce loh

The cheesecake we have is different from cafe n other places eg
1. peppermint chocolate cheesecake
2. miky calvados cheesecake
3. durian cheesecake
4. jasmine lychee cheesecake
5. almond longan cheesecake
6. coconut champedak cheesecake.
These are more local flavours. Of coz there are other type as well... anyone interested can pm me for details... rest assured these really taste great.
