tampines last time got one really nice western food...i use to eat it when i was younger...can't quite remember where is it...but the last clue i knew...they were somewhere near the blocks of hdb flats opp. of tampines safra...

I am in the West but last weekend I went to Tampinese Mall & Century Square and was impressed with them. The crowd, shops, eatting places etc. Quite happening.
There is Billy Bomber in century square. Try the pies @ Cottage Pie (outside century square), it was newspaper recommended.
Heard that blk 828 got sell Gozilla Pau (which is the very big one, bigger than big pau). It is common in malaysia but not S'pore! I will be exploring it!

I think the block mentioned is 802. The Prawn Mee there is good, the fried oyster also nice... and of course the western he mentioned still there... i was there recently and the coffee shop has just been renovated and now they are open 24hrs liao.
The her-nie hair-pia (Fishballs & PrawnCracker) with dried Bee Hoon also good. Same shop with the Prawn Mee.
