should i go there for lunch later?
i'm hungry

used to be a fish soup stall that had really good fish soup.... they had Pomfret, roe, fish guts and other things which was damned nice to eat.. now no more.. the stall changed its menu.. probably coz not many people ordered the stuff...
there's a herbal mutton soup in the upper level too... however, eat with caution... i love the stuff but the last time i ate it, my body actually overheated... at night, in an airconditioned room, i could feel waves of heat coming out from me

but personal fave is the beef noodles downstairs.. situated in the middle of all the malay food stall, that beef noodle soup is lighter than the usual ones and is pretty "refreshing".. the chilli comes with dessicated grated ginger which is very yummy

in the evening, go with the Sup Tulang

also, upstairs, there's a claypot rice stall... GOOD stuff.. however, be prepared to wait 45 minutes to an hour as they actually make it from raw ingredients, as in raw rice grains, raw meats and stock.. and cook it until it is perfect... if you get a name card from them, you can order and then go
