What fruit is this?

  My friends say its always been around. But i havent seen it before...
  
  so i bought it.. and it taste so nice. like rambutan.. but the hairs so stiff...

  it is called pu dao san in hokkien if i not wrong, or san pu tao in chinese, not sure too, but its a nice fruit.

  looks like lychee leh....all belongs to the same family, rambutan, lychee and this..

  heard that its a new species of the rambutan family but tastes better, haven't tried yet.
