bak kut teh - soup - teochew or hokkien

was told that white/colourless soup is teochew, while black/dark soup is hokkien...or iszit the other way round?
any one can verify for me?

Not sure about the color, but I know white color one nicer! Especially the one recently kena by the HongKong reporters one.

There is one store along beach road (inside Arab street area) that sells klang style BKT. Tried it a few times, very nice.
