Will you leave immediately after finishing your meal?

depends on where and circumstances
I.e. if foodcourt, hawker centre, kopitiam - yes, will not stay for long
but if I am going to meet some friends to catch up at a restaurant, then no. I mean, that's what the venue is for what - pay for the ambience to 'catch up', and people should just make reservations if they want to go to a popular restaurant for dinner. Having said that, we WOULD order desserts/coffee and linger over that and not empty table lah.
Once I was meeting a couple of friends I have not met for some time at a Thai Restaurant.. my back was facing the door and we were catching up and the dessert was taking a long time to arrive when this woman BARGED in from the entrance and started scolding US for lingering. We were astounded cos we really DIDN'T notice the queue for one, and for the other, we were WAITING for dessert!!
Finally she got her seat with her family.. WHICH was next to us, and I told her we WERE waiting for dessert and thanks for spoiling our dinner, and if they got issues with how crowded the restaurant is - go complain to management to get more tables - it isn't our business. -
if it is during lunchtime n i am at a food court or hawker centre, i will leave
if i am at the restaurant, i normally don't care how long the queue is
that's the restaurant's problem

Other than that, I just sit until I song. -
Most of the time I eat alone, so I'll leave pretty much immediately. But sometimes in restaurants I'd end up waiting quite a few minutes before I could hail a waiter to get the bill.

Same, will get up and leave if there are others waiting for seats.
Looks like most of us are considerate. But of course out there... always got some rotten apples. -

haha. subjective. if ure in the fdcourt n the blardy light's shining on me,of coz i'll extricate after my meal. Let's say ure @ restaurant by the beach or similar, will stay there n talk longer D:
