This place is on the ground floor of the old Majestic theatre, located in Chinatown. It's basically a kopitiam without a real tiam.

The special item on the menu is
ciabatta toast and
orange ciabatta toast.
I think the ciabatta toast is just ciabatta with kaya and butter.
I just bought the orange ciabatta today (there's still ¾ of it left in front of me). I can't really tell what they smeared on it except butter. There's something else that looks like kaya but doesn't taste like kaya and doesn't really look like kaya either.

I wonder if that's where the orange part comes from.
*takes a bite*
Slight citrus flavor only.

Ciabatta bread is suspicious! I think it's an imposter. It looks like ciabatta, with the shape and the bread surface texture and powdery covering. But I don't remember ciabatta tasting completely like normal bread. At least not the one from SwissBake.
PriceSlightly costlier than your usual kopitiam grub (probably because it's indoors and air-conditioned?).
Kaya toast : $1.20 each.
Ciabatta toast : $1.80 each
Orange Ciabatta : $2.20
Forgot the kopi and teh costs.

But the iced kopi costs $1.10, and is too sweet for my liking, although it tastes really milky.
Has anyone else tried the ciabatta toast before?
