Tried it a few months back when straits time first ran an article on it. Think its overhyped. Not as good as the review made it out to be.

cant remember what i ate there. but i think the food was definitely good.
there is this crabmeat thing in this crab-shaped bowl thingy. AWESOME!

not cheap but the food is tasty, cooking is unique eg. fish is cooked with crab meat, prawns are big and coated with shredded salted egg yoke and served on a bed of dou miao, the kai wei xiao cai's are dainty and unique... and their presentation and service are excellent...
eg. like i said, their tea pots were placed on mini-tea light stoves to keep warm, they change your plates... serve tea often.... and the decor and food presentation is a bit wa fu <-- somewhat japanese feeling
i was very impressed, i much prefer qaint little restaurants like this than going to chinese restaurants in hotels...
