Plain Butter Cake (traditional type)

  I got this friend who is in love with those traditional butter cakes. Thinking of purchasing good one for her next gathering. Heard from her that not many shops make this type and good ones nowadays. Anyone has any recommendations? Preferably in the central or west region?

  Katong there, a bakery near where they sell all the katong laksa, near the church, they sell homemade kaya also, always warm one.
