LoL all ice wines are made from frozen grapes. So this falls under the mid-range, or low-end ice wines?Originally posted by BadzMaro:From Canada
distilled using Frozen Grapes
but this Eiswen is not as good as the Blue Nun Ice Wine. Also from Canada.
Well, the Eiswein ice wine has more fragrant and the hint of sweetness when smelled. But it tastes very sweet. The good is that the smell is nice.. u smell it when its opened n when its in the wine glass. The Blue Nun Ice Wine however is not as fragrant , but it has a longer finish to it. N not AS sweet.Originally posted by aRcTiC_sTaR:LoL all ice wines are made from frozen grapes. So this falls under the mid-range, or low-end ice wines?
So you're saying the ice wine as shown in the picture above is a mid-range ice wine?Originally posted by BadzMaro:...
I consider then mid range ice wines. There is also the golden flakes ones. Blue nun cheaper.. but personally i reckon it tastes better.
the Eiswein for S$40 ? oh yeah . In some wine shops retail in MY it can go up to RM240. After Duty paid n all that crap.Originally posted by aRcTiC_sTaR:Ok, so for the mid range ice wine I posted above, is $40 worth it? I'm either getting this or an Inniskillin (which costs more).
value for money but how about tastes ? Becuase some may be cheaper but dun taste as good.. n very bland. Its actually also how the winemaker ferments and distills the wine. how its oaked or barreled. I think u need to try both lo. To fully know u must taste it, then ask urself which one is better. If u gonna one go it.. then go for the cheaper one lo. If wanna enjoy it.. can go for the other ...or maybe other makers one lo~ wait.. is that bottle.. the Inniskillin one ? he heOriginally posted by aRcTiC_sTaR:I can get the Canada's Best Vineyards ice wine for $40. As for the Inniskillin I think it's $100+. I think that the Canada's Best Vineyards ice wine is more value for money, what do you think?
