Yes Ice Wine is expensive. But sometime in DFS, u can get discounted ice wine that cost around $30+.
Alternatively, u can try Late Harvest that cost around $20+ or Port Wine which also cost the same. Both can be found at NTUC. They r very sweet.

NZ icewine not true ice wine as they are not frozen on vine. They are taken from vine and put in the freezer.
In Singapore I thought Jason sell it or the wine shop in Taka have that.
Maybe price will go down..

That time I was in Black Forest, Germany and I tried the ice wine there. Not bad but costs 80 Euro each. Somemore tour just start so not very feasible to buy...

I bought a lot of ice wine from Canada when I came back. Its half the price of those sold at DFS in Singapore.

Well, the Eiswein ice wine has more fragrant and the hint of sweetness when smelled. But it tastes very sweet. The good is that the smell is nice.. u smell it when its opened n when its in the wine glass. The Blue Nun Ice Wine however is not as fragrant , but it has a longer finish to it. The Eiswein Founder's Series Ice Wine is better.
I consider then mid range ice wines. There is also the golden flakes ones. Blue nun cheaper.. but personally i reckon it tastes better. -
Isn't Eiswein the german name for ice wine? Therefore Eiswein = Ice Wine, Ice Wine = Eiswein?

I can get the Canada's Best Vineyards ice wine for $40. As for the Inniskillin I think it's $100+. I think that the Canada's Best Vineyards ice wine is more value for money, what do you think?

value for money but how about tastes ? Becuase some may be cheaper but dun taste as good.. n very bland. Its actually also how the winemaker ferments and distills the wine. how its oaked or barreled. I think u need to try both lo. To fully know u must taste it, then ask urself which one is better. If u gonna one go it.. then go for the cheaper one lo. hmmm.. u guys discussing about me? Lol....
Inniskilln from canada is the most renowned brand for icewine. DFS selling 90++ for 375ml. Super expensive.
Of course there are other brands but they don't taste as good as inniskilln, from what I heard from other ppl. -
