Tongkat Dinner?

Those that provide the dinner send to your house one lor... anyone tried? Any recommendation? Is the food good? How much har?

tried about 1 year ...last time in sec school
dun really like..coz the dishes abit salty and not my liking..
but 3 dish 1 soup..our house got 5 people but we usually order for 3 pax which is more than enough -
Tingkat dinner, $120 a month, 5 days dinner only, 3 dishes one soup.

What This swish kitchen in Jiak Chuan Road opened by businessman Ajai Zecha and actress Michelle Saram serves hot, homecooked lunches on weekdays to businesses within a 'reasonable walking distance'. Most of its customers - call them 'members' - are creative types working in the nearby Chinatown shophouses. The food, mostly Western fare, is delivered by staff carrying brass tiffin carriers.
Sample Hunter's chicken stew, mango salsa, broccoli, walnuts and garlic chips sauteed in olive oil with rock salt and black peppercorns and mashed potatoes.
Price $15 for a small portion, $20 for a large one. Members have a credit account that they can top up regularly.
Verdict The mango salsa - essentially a light mango salad - had bite to it, thanks to crunchy toppings like red pepper and celery. The chicken stew was tender, while the olive oil and garlic chips lent great aroma to the otherwise bland broccoli. The mashed potatoes were nothing to shout about.
Prices may be a bit steep but the upside is that you get quality fare plus hearty servings.

Emm..... either u can take 3 dishes & a soup or 4 dishes, but only mon - fri only, some is 20 dys some is a whole mth, px range fm $160 onwards, I'm referg 2 dinner for 2 pax menu. They hve deluxe & ..... can't rememberd word. U can try seach d yahoo search, there r quite a no. out there. Okay lah their timing is quite puntual one.
Some hve 1st time try 1, u can order 10 dys trial.
For 1st time customer.............
Their dishes so -so lah. Soup i think better cook urself. Actually we order ois out of convienence lah, no need 2 buy. My hse we dun cook 1 cos' my kitchen is open concept 1, once cook u gotto mop d whole hse leh, lehchay mah....
Somemore my hubby VERY FUSSY over food 1. He prefers 2 cook his way like my MIL cookg!!!! DAWN BLOODY SALTY!!!!!!
