  Just finished posting pics on 8 recommended stalls at Golden Mile FC

  Any personal favourites I missed out? The Hokkien Mee stall supposed to be good but it was not opened.

  How about the claypot rice? I heard you had to wait up to half an hour for it.

  There is an interesting history behind Chong Cheng Chilli Mee. If the name reminds you of a certain chinese school in Singapore, then you would be pleased to know that this Chilli Mee IS actually named after the school. So how did this come about? Well it turns out that the original Mr Yeo fled from Sarawak to Singapore after the war and started selling his Mee from a pushcart in Tampines just outside the old ChongZheng Primary School.

  I read your post regarding the beef noodles stall, which is one of my faves.
  
  I agree the purvis st Hock Lam sucks...it's too starchy for my liking. However, you should try the brother's stall at Far East Square. That one is another firm favourite.
