Wah lao comeon lar , it depend what they are selling lor . If they r selling chao guo tiao , they not only have to pluck taogay , make fishcake , slice them , deshell the hums , fry the pork lard prepare the noodles prepare the sauces wash the wok . by then ar i tink no need to slp liao . End of day have to wash the dishes wash the floor wash the stall then start making fishcake , pluck taogay etc untill afternoon then end . This kind of life you can tahan boh ? Or are you trying to say ask him buy all ingredient from other pple who pluck or prepare them them ? Can also but your chao guo tiao will be more costly lor then end up sg wun have anymore affordable hawker food lor . Imagine hum , fishcake , taogay , sauces , noodles n bee hoon kana charge 7%gst individually . Do you think you still can enjoy your chao guo tiao without having heartache ?
If you think eating tao gay with the root can kill you but cannot live without eating tao gay everyday then you pluck the tao gay root while eating them lor . You think being a hawker so easy ar ? Go and be a hawker then you know lor . -

I think most got wash their Tow gay la.. if dun wash.. pple eat got sand their business will suffer.. correct.. so they dun take risks.. Eat roots also wont die.. what the big deal over tow geh roots??
