Katong Shopping Centre - basement, air conditioned Food Court. There is a chicken rice stall there that serves you yummy soup (not the crappy msg kind), fruits & cucumber archar and some kiam chai thingy.
They close pretty early so be there for lunch or dinner

very cheap, very tasty n also portion reasonable -
The beach road hawker centre basement chicken Rice.. If i go there i sure eat.. green colour plate 1.. Yummy..

I like the chilli there, though I can't really eat spicy stuff -
well, just had lunch at my usual place - CR @ Prinsep - they serve the best i try so far. Chicken tender and juice , rice not oily and the chilli , ginger.. best. Soup is with great taste , i ask for more ... hehe ..Even the newspapers also commented the difference ... Must try to taste the difference... 44 Prinsep Street #01-01 - tel : 63344498

for all northies - woodlands ring road blk 630 coffeeshop has a nice chicken rice shop also! the shopowner is friendly and nice..always willing to give you that extra bit of rice without charging more.
