  btw, if i dun remember wrongly the restaurant name, Hongkong cha can ting sells Durian Fried Rice.. haven try it tho..

  Cheap place to get it is at Le Meridian Food Court at the basement. There are still a few Thai run stalls there. Its at the end away from the entrance nearer to orchard road.

  When I had it at a particular kopitiam in bangkok, they gave me the whole mango, and the rice was fresh and warm. The mango was the sweetest one I've ever eaten, and it wasn't even mango season.

  Yes the way to prepare the sticky rice is to steam it and add coconut milk when it is just cook so that the coconut milk is absorbed into the rice. A bit of salt also added.
