Nice and Cheap Dim Sum buffet(under 18 dollar per person)

  Hello. I would like to have a nice and cheap Dim Sum buffet. Does anyone recommend any restaurants that provide cheap and nice dim sum buffet?`
  Oso, does anyone know the price of having a dim sum buffet at the Red Star Restaurant?? Moreover, are Yum Cha and Ocean Orient Restaurant( at Miramar Hotel) and Dragon Gate Restaurant (harbourfront centre) nice?

  Red star got no dim sum buffet, I can only say the char siew pau I had when I went there was bleh.

  their standard dropped quite a lot, but they still offer one of the best dim sum around.

  For the best shrimp dim sum dishes, I insist on teahouse by the tung lok group.
  
  The water chestnut thingie by red star was very good, not too sweet.
  
  The same thing by teahouse was wah lau eh, diabetes on the spot.

  Teahouse at chinasquare lunch is about 20++++ bucks per pax.

  Yum Cha is bad. Min Jiang has a dim sum buffet from 8am-1030am on sundays and they go for 18.90+++ I think.

  I have just tried the Dim Sum buffet at the Ocean Orient Restaurant where located in the Hotel Miramar. The dim sum there is very fresh and worthy to eat there. The Hay Gao is so fresh and nice. The prawn is fresh, big and crunchy too. Char Siew Sesame Puff and Sotong Ball are also nice to me. Here is the variety they offered:
  
  After adding up the Tea, Towel, Pickled nuts and taxes.
  Total $14.35 is needed for a person. (min. 2 person).
  Nice! Recommended!!

  I'm not sure if anyone shares my opinion but I find teahouse especially oily.

  I never found teahouse oily, just found almost all their dishes have shrimp. I still remember the mango thing with shrimp one, woweeee.

  i went there and its abt 18 bucks. i think 12+++.
