Hi people, just like to share my experience there...anyone else who's been there can recommend me dishes to try as well...
Went there on Friday night with my girlfriend. A spacious alfresco area...saw a few japanese men in their suits drinking sake..there were more inside..if japanese expatriates visit that place then i guess it must the food must be authentic...the decor was a mix of traditional jap and minimalist design, quite pleasing.
Next to the service...the servers were quite friendly, obliging and helpful...i ordered a tempura moriawase (mixed tempura) and this dish i forgot, but its basically fried rice served in a big dish flooded with crab sauce.
The tempura was good. Consisted of prawns, eggplant, ladyfingers, sweet potato, mushrooms and lotus root. The batter was light and the ingredients tasted quite fresh. But the crab fried rice was disappointing....if im not wrong they only used real crab meat for the sauce....most of it was crabstick... felt cheated! the only nice thing was the deepfried softshell crab on top.
Overall, nice ambience, definitely a place to bring your partner too...will be going back to try new stuff.
