  exactly.There's so common see malay eating that's not halal cert.Even sakae sushi i've seen some.

  Nolar.They just don't have MUIS standard like keep clean away from alcohol stuff etc,no money to buy certified halal something like that.

  Hmm heard from my malay friend that not only the food has to be non pork... it also have to be prepared according to the Islamic law or smth...

  wait wait wait can someone please enplane to me, they say must kill the animal in the most humane way, but why do that slit the sheep's throat during one of their festivals? i rmb i went to visit a mosque before. just curious to know, thanks!

  Basically, no violent blow is allowed, and the animal must be alive and all blood must be drained form the animal.
  
  The problem is that of stunning the animal. Western abbatoirs will frequently stun the animal so that it is unconscious before killing it. Some muslim Abbatoirs forbid that, thinking that the blood might not drain out properly. Nobody knows if the animal can feel its throat being slit and its blood draining out, but clearly I (and you) would prefer to be unconscious would you not?
  
  There has been some noises made that it is not against halal practice to pre-stun the animal but let's face it, Islam is a primitive religion (compartively) and old practices die hard.

  Can still rem...there is an ad on tv in the states.... this bread company something like subway, compare its bread and fillings with subway sandwich..... the former has larger breads and fillings...
