Where to find quality "Tako pachi"(octopus ball)?

  I feel the Tako pachi($2.30 one) standard going down, too soft already, like eating thick starch.
  
  Few years ago I tried the best takoyaki in Daimaru, ground floor, the chief will apply some seaweed powder on the top to increase the flavour, bigger octopus, 8 balls perbox(a bit expensive, but worth for money), very similiar to the one I tried in Japan, but they closed shop already
  
  Now dun know where to find the quality Tako yaki.

  singapore based but run by a very young japanese...who started with one stall in Taka...then brought over the one at Bugis...and slowly the rest

  I think Tako pachi is just a shop name, by right it should call "Tako yaki".
  
  Tako = octopus
  yaki = roast
  
  Not very sure what is "pachi" mean.

  There are few japanese resturants at TAKA basement two..opposite Giordano
  Their Tako Pachi quite good worth trying man...
  Trust me is worth for money,I will attach some pictures in future for your reference.

  I think outside Medi-ya (Liang Court) sells Tako Yaki
  But I have not tried it yet.
  
  I think the ones that taste weirdest are those Halal Takoyaki, no offense intended to anyone ><

  btw, takoyaki is good to eat when it's still hot.
  
  in Japan, some ppl eat at least 8 to 15 takoyaki for launch.
