The stall in Cardon coffee shop at Chartwell Drive, Serangoon Gardens. $3 a bowl. Run by a team of ladies. I call this the original Hae Mee. Not the recent type where they try to impress you with whole unshelled prawns, and worse charge the sky for it. That's something I really abhor. Somehow the prawn tastes nicer if it is de-shelled and split in the middle but not separated.Originally posted by dahliamorie:Where to find best prawn noodles in SG. Wet and Dry.

Me ever tried the prawn mee (soup) at Albert Food Complex near Kwai Yin Temple... Tasted very nice and fresh... They used the big prawns from Sabah (about the size of a adult's palm), got two pieces...Originally posted by dahliamorie:Where to find best prawn noodles in SG. Wet and Dry.

not very nice leh. too spicy imo. the soup is great. i prefer prawns half-shelled and the black strip of intestines(i think) taken out.
