don't want restaurant becoz maybe its not original like hawker style, and restaurant expensive, me no money.
so u people know where can i find? the more authentic the better. better still if they sell penang favorites like char koay teow, char koay kek, penang fruit rojak and jooher engchai
I would also like to know. There used to be a Penang food centre at Katong East Coast Road. Many called that particular location a jinxed one, and sure enough it closed shop later on. I think the only place selling all Penang hawker foods is at Copthorne King's hotel, Havelock Rd. Even then, I'm not sure whether it is still going on, as I haven't been there for many years. I think, even in Penang, there can be many versions of Penang Laksa. Some even have Sardines added to it. I've seen some foodcourts selling Penang Laksa and Char Keow Tway, but can't recall any right now.
