What's nice at amoy market place?

  It's the one 5 minutes walk from lao pa sat one..Got what nice food over there huh? So many stalls over there everytime go there duno what to order..2 storeys somemore~..20 more minutes to lunch

  Got a famous lor mee there. Char keow Tway and Mutton soup too. Generally, it's not a famous place for good foods, but very popular at lunch time with the office workers.

  Nasi Lemak, Teochew Porridge, Wan Ton Mee, Fish Slice Porridge, Chicken Rice, Char Kway Tiao... I miss the place, I miss the food...

  Are you kidding? There are so many good food stalls there. I used to eat there almost everyday when I was working at Raffles place.

  Golden shoe is at raffles place mrt side, behind oub centre, opp uob plaza.
  
  Amoy food centre is at tangjong pagar mrt beside ura centre.
  
  both two stories, cheap cheap and excellent stufff!!!!
  
  btw, just saw michelle chia and gurmit singh 2 weeks back at amoy filming some food stuff. michelle is, i feel, thinner then her pics in mags. gurmit is tall!!

  Good food stalls, but very few outstanding ones, unlike Maxwell market. I used to work near there too, but dread the lunchtime crowd. But in the morning, I liked to go there for teochew muay, and other breakfast stuff.
  
  Diagonally across Amoy food centre, at McCallum St, there was a fish head curry shop that's similar to the one at Toa Payoh Lor 8. Very crowded too.

  I beg to differ. Have you tried Ho Kee Ba chang, or the Teochew Beef Kway Teow? Or perhaps the fish porridge stall on the 2nd floor (can't remember the name). Maxwell is equally good but in different aspects of food variety.
  
  edit: the fish head curry is still there and its under the same umbrella as the one at tpy.

  Ok, good, but not really outstanding. Must stand out like Kah Soh fish soup at Amoy Street.

  Ka Soh is known for their fish head noodle, not fish slices. Whampoa market and Chinatown market have quite a few good fish head soup if you are talking about fish head.
