How is the service at Borshch Steakhouse?

Have any of u been to Borshch Steakhouse at Serangoon Garden? The food looks really good and value for money. However, I find the service really bad! I called in to reserve a table, and asked if smoking was allowed inside. Cos it looked like a pub kind of restaurant. The woman who picked up just said "no smoking! no smoking allowed!" and put down the phone. Don't u think that is damn rude?!

Borshch Steakhouse has always been a no-smoking environment. The only smoke you see will be the hotplate smoking to your table.
yes the pancake .. peach melba is yummy...
service has dropped as now those servicing in there are not that patient with questions anymore. sad indeed...
if you don't mind service...close an eye and just go enjoy the food. -
