  Hi all!!!
  
  Anyone been to Satsuma Shochu dining bar before?

  It was introduced by channel 8 previously....
  
  Was the food nice? worth the $$ or very small potion?
  
  What the $$ range like per person?

  I've been there, didn't try much of the food as I went there after dinner. They have a handful of grilled items on the menu. The food doesn't look too bad, but I didn't try so I can't say for sure. It has a pleasant ambience, though the place is abit small.
  
  I would estimate the food to be about $20-$50 per pax, again that depends on what you order

  Is the place very noisy? Cos I am thinking of having a romantic dinner there hahaha...what seat is the best?
  
  Guess 20-50 is okie for me...just hope the food is filling hehe...heard that food to go with drinks are little...

  if you're refering to the restaurant section (2nd floor), the table in the middle of the restaurant which has a column enclosure would be good as it probably affords good privacy. The ones behind the bamboo where you can place your feet under the table looks not bad too. The rest are just normal tables.
  
  The shochu bar (1st floor) doesn't have much option. Sits about 18 at the max and you have to remove your shoes to enter.

  I been to the restaurant for dinner...wow the amposphere is really nice!!! the food is not bad and the service is really good!!!
  
  There's this waitress who serve us, she introdue all the drinks and food and also explain in patient how isit make....later I wanted to drink soup but the onli one available is a mild soup or kimchee with beef...since i dun eat beef...i din order any.....but she make an effort to ask the chef if the beef can change to other meat when I din mention or suggest....
  
  definately a thumbs up for good service and also for romantic restaurant.....

  Oh ya....something to take note....the food are in a smaller potions and also since some are charaol grilled, prepare to have the characol smell...but not that strong so dun worrie.....
  
  Must try: the curried minced chicken grill, goose liver, oyster wrap over pork, the bean sauce that they gave as apptister with the veg
  Can be Missed: kimchee pork with rice
