  or Sketches at Bugis..
  not quite authentic..but serving is big...and less than %15 per meal..
  (if u dont order too expensive a drink..)
  
  another one is Prego's at basement of Swissotel..its slightly more upmarket..and more expensive.. $30 per meal..but good..
  
  otherwise...DIY yourself lah. Pasta is relatively easy to prepare...

  went to pasta maniac before at Picnic...its not really cheap in term of kopitiam prices...but to compare with resturants...its definately worth it...depending what's your piority...self-service but cheaper? or everything they do, then charge service charge...?

  Sketches is at Bugis Junction....somewhere opposite Ajisen Ramen ~ near all those little pushcarts...near Esprit , M1 etc..
  i think if u really can't find, can just ask the shopowners, they will know.

  I love Pasta Mania...they have a new branch at Funan Centre.
  
  You can also try Hooked On Pasta at Suntec City...Level 4 ...I think...prices are a bit dearer than Pasta Mania lar.

  Let me recommend Al Forno's. I think there is a branch opposite Novena and there is certainly one at the Telok Kurau junction along East Coast Road. The food is cooked by Italians and their garlic bread is good enough to kill for! Prices are a little steep, but the food is al dente!

  i like pasta mania too
  haven't tried the one at scotts but i like the funan one
  prices are not ex and the portions are good
  pizzas are good too
