Went victor's kitchen, all the dim sum there is as good or better than red star except the chicken claws. trust me, its good stuff.
i see a lot of people mention teahouse. but i dun think teahouse is very good. marginally delicious only. the main reason is that the food there served is typically oily. -

There's a stall at Jalan Besar that sells bao. They sell quite good siew mai also. But its only opened in the night.

Tried Victor's Kitchen today with my friends. Dun like it very much, like overrated le.
Their "restaurant" is so pathetic small, like Mamak's stall. I still prefer to the Orient Ocean Restaurant at Havelock Rd as their dim sum buffet is cheap and worthy to try. Juz 10.80 ++ (after tax, tea, towel, it will be 14 dollar sth).
Victor's Kitchen Har Gow is juz so so only, their prawns are not as crunchy as the Orient Ocean. Their Zhu Chang Fen with Char Siew is not nice at all. Moreover, their prices are quite expensive when we come to the eyesight of their food portion. I give him 6 out of 10. -

On a side note, Victors has rented one of the units for its patrons to eat in. Must good dim sum always be served in big fanciful places?

Where the exact location of Orient Ocean ?

Ocean Orient is at Miramar Hotel. Its under the same group which owns the 88 restaurant, dragon gate etc.
