anyone know any famous bah ku ten in KL?
I am going there and want to try, pls give general directions too hor...otherwise difficult to find - thanks.
I been to one near Reinaissance Hotel - anyone know exactly how to go there? -

I just enjoy... never ask why... but according to one Malaysian woman... she ate the food in Singapore and she was like:
"Unpalatable and expensive... it this was in Malaysia... they would have closed down long ago..."
So it might be due to competition... the barrier of entry has been set so impossible by the gahmen until we, the people have to suffer....
for example... in KL anyone can start a food business by pushing a cart... and if they have good and cheap food, they survive or prosper.., and the people benefited
The same chap in Sinagpore... hahahahahahahahahahaha.... if the rental does not kill him... then the rules and regulations will finish him off.....
apparently since Singaporeans keep on voting in the same gahmen, one might be tempted to conclude that Singaporeans like unpalatable and expensive food......
Rich people, I can understand... they can afford to pay the top chefs to cook for them... the average person? Well, they have their reasons...
I like to think of Singapore to be like Genting. Genting is in Malaysia but the food there, even at the Genting food courts... wah lao... I end up eating McDonalds and the other fast food....
Taste like sh!t and expensive like h@ll...
Why? Monopoly... nobody can sell food with a push cart in Genting... see the parallel? -

But one thing about the food scene in Singapore is that good location seems sustain some of the outlets. Although their fare is so so. -

Like char kwey teow and bak kut teh I think Malaysia varients beat us hands down
This applies to the prata as well.
However if you talk about Chicken Rice and International Cusine, we have much better stuff here in Singapore. (Reason why my Malaysian friends love coming here to eat)
Also u need to know where to eat in Malaysia if not their food is many times worse compared to Singapore -

near to KLCC, there are some coffee shops that sell very cheap and delicious meals. Though food is attractive there, but do not like the traffic jams and no red lights, also dont like the rising crime rate in JB. Can eat bak ku teh at balestiar road, is good enough.

i know of 1 near near the times square.. been there once.. by the driver's recommendation... hmm.. its quite a big restaurant.. something like tat.. but its like a shophouse...
