  very popular during hari raya...
  crispy but oily coz its deep fried. fragrant too coz coconut milk is added i guess...
  
  have u seen them making such snacks? i think a metal thingy with pattern is dipped into batter n them dipped into hot oil...

  I've seen chinese ones of it n malay ones of it... both same one. i thought its malay one coz it contains coconut milk...
  
  i guess its just like some of the CNY/Hari raya titbits which is both made by malay n chinese alike... such as pineapple tarts, kueh baulu, kueh bangkit
