I recently discovered a restaurant which is selling good and cheap China provincial food. It's called "Vine Pavillion Kitchen", located at 126 Casuarina Road (Tel : 64598891), just a few shops away from the famous Roti Prata Shop "THE PRATA SHOP". The dishes are quite unique, not those that I often seen in the restaurant menu. But there are some familiar ones like "Dong Buo Rou". My favourite dish is the deep fried Aubegiene - Crispy and delicious. The prices are quite reasonable too, something like normal Öó³´. I think because the restaurant is run by a few Chinese ladies, their dishes are quite authentic.
In the morning, they open as early as 7am and they sell "Shao Bing You Tiao" and other delicious dim sum, e.g. Pumpkin cake - only $1.00 per piece, "Carrot Shao Bing" only $1.50 per piece. The breakfast ends at 11am. It is really value for money. [/code]

Have they been there since 2005? If they have, I've tried it and I think it sucks.
