have u experienced this when u tah pow char kway teow?

  u tell the char kway teow uncle to tah pow your CKT...
  or someone help u tah pow CKT...
  
  then when u reached home or when u gotten the CKT...u open up to eat...or maybe u didnt eat immediately...u let the CKT sit for a while first
  
  then when u eat u realized the hums have all shrunked into tiny pieces n taste rubbery n hard instead of big fat n juicy.... coz after being tah pow, the hums all got extra cooked by the heat of the food.. eg. after tah pow, u take 20 or 30 mins to get home...then during the time the hum will get extra cooked.
  
  then like this not nice to eat liao...
  
  whereas if u order there n eat there, the hum will still be big fat n juicy.
  
  so how ah? have u ever thought of asking the hawker to pack raw hums seperately? then when u reach home n wanna eat, u mix in the hums together with the CKT.

  actually some food are best not to tabow.. cos the taste will diff alot.. char kway teow is one of them.

  The bacteria and viruses are easily killed by heat.
  Therefore when eating laksa, CKT, please bury the coc kles in the hot food for at least 30 seconds more, to be safe.

  i usually do that...
  
  even when i tapao and get home in abt 10 mins or less... the hum will still look very whole, but not overcooked or bloodified.
